Course Description

Within the conduct of the interview, the utilization of deception-related tactics by the interviewee is designed to give the interviewer a false sense of reality. Deception is the manipulation of the interviewer by the interviewee via verbal, vocal and non-verbal means. An interviewer lacking an effective working knowledge of the elements and manifestations of deception can assess a truthful interviewee as deceptive and a deceptive interviewee as truthful.

The session utilizes related materials, previously recorded interviews, and recorded lectures to address the concept.
