Course Description

This course is designed as a culmination of the concepts presented in the Leadership Development Program.

It is not enough to set the rules; leaders must take the point as the organization maps its course into the future.

Classroom discussion will focus on current best practices and leadership principles in the development of agency policy and procedure. In the area of Strategic Planning the course will focus on identifying where an organization is, where it wants to be, and how to get there through the planning process. This will include the use of self-assessment tools, feedback from stakeholders, the development of long- and short-term goals and objectives for every level of the organization.
