Course Description
Advanced S.W.A.T. is a challenging course that will force class participants to push one another during each training evolution. Operators will be tested during scenarios conducted during day and night operations. Training scenarios will include techniques for vehicle assaults and shooting from the inside the vehicle at threats located on the outside. Each operator will be drilled on handgun, shotgun, rifle, and sub-gun evolution. This course is physically demanding to test the mental and physical limits of the operators. The focus is placed on teamwork. An equipment list will be available upon registration for the class.
Equipment list needed.
- Duty gear – handgun, holster, 3 magazines
- Eye, ear protection
- Ballistic vest
- Tactical gear with helmet if available
- 500 handgun rounds
- 450 rifle or submachine gun rounds
- Outlines will be handed out during classroom or website from college
- Baseball style cap, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, goggles
- Ballistic shield
- Gas mask
- Each team is requested for a smoke, NFDD, CN OR CS GAS
- PLENTY OF WATER
- Sims handgun weapons, 50 rounds of Sims ammo if available
