AUT-3200C - Small Engine Repair II

Course Description

Small Engine Repair II is designed to cover both four stroke and two stroke engine theory of both hand held and gasoline powered small engines.

The students will gain knowledge on small engine fundamentals through seminars containing power points, text and work books and web base training from Honda and Briggs & Stratton. They will receive hands on experience with the tear down and inspection of Honda four stroke engine in accordance to manufacturer’s specifications. Students will then rebuild the engine and test run and tune to manufacturer’s specifications. 

This course covers shop safety practices and the use of general and specialty hand and measuring tools. The course will also briefly cover jobs in the field of small engine repair.
