Course Description

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has partnered with RJG® Inc. to provide various injection molding certifications and advanced composites trainings at the Rowan-Cabarrus Advanced Technology Center in Kannapolis, NC. 

Emphasis is placed on composite materials technology, fiber and resin properties, lay-up and curing procedures, tooling concepts, used during repair, fabrication and/or replacement of damaged composite components. The program module areas include health and safety, history of composites, matrix systems, fiber reinforcements, composite design considerations, composite equipment, sandwich construction, methods of assembly, composite fabrication and repairs and nondestructive testing.
