Course Description

The instruction is designed to set a solid foundation of knowledge for the continued practice and application of Tai Chi Chuan for health, wellness, rehabilitation and  martial application. Coursework includes learning and performing standing postures and movements of Tai Chi Chuan, as well as working to perform as many of the 25 principles as possible.

The practice may be solo or performed with a partner dependent on the particular principle or attribute being taught. The only knowledge based portion outside of the form practice is in acknowledging the 25 principles and learning basic descriptions of Yin, Yang, Tai Chi, and Tai Chi Chuan. Included in this course is a brief introduction of Yin and Yang as well as brief descriptions on how the various principles aid in achieving better health.
