CJC-3925AC - Firearms Simulator Training - Use of Force Decision Making

Course Description

Using the firearms simulation training system, the student will be subjected to a variety of use of force decision making scenarios.   Each scenario will require the student to react to the circumstances observed on screen and react with the appropriate level of force (if applicable) in accordance with established state law and agency policy.   The student may choose from a variety of responses including, but not limited to: verbal commands, OC spray, or deadly force using a firearm.   Each student will be debriefed at the conclusion of the training to determine what, if any, use of force was appropriate and if a use of force was administered; why that action was taken and under what lawful authority the force was justified.   Documentation of the scenario, results, and remediation for the student may be made for agency training records.
