Course Description

This is a basic ASP baton user certification class. Students will be instructed in the proper use of the ASP baton to include stance, grip, opening techniques, striking methods, impact target areas, and expected results from application of the baton during a use of force.

This is a dynamic training event and will require students to wear duty gear and clothing conducive to physical activity.   

Students MAY NOT bring any weapon (firearm, OC spray, TASER, etc.) other than the expandable baton into the training environment.
