All interviews have a set of structured commonalities:  questioning for quality information, detecting deception and gaining-compliance, However, the interviews of
suspected sexual abuse of children (just as do other specific focused interviews, i.e.; fraud) brings its own set of sub-criteria. Understanding the use of empathy and question type within the conduct of these interview settings can positively influence the interview outcome.
