Course Description

This course is designed for patrol officers who routinely search buildings/residential structures as part of their daily patrol duties. 

From burglar alarm calls to searching a home for a wanted subject, searching structures can become routine and create bad habits that will carry over into other areas of police work.  The course will place emphasis on deliberate search principles and philosophies that can be used in any structure and at any time of day. 

The course will focus on proven search tactics and deliberate room entries for two and three officer search teams.
